Overview
The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has released the much-awaited MPSC Group-C Recruitment 2026 notification. A total of 938 vacancies are open for posts like Industry Inspector, Technical Assistant, Tax Assistant and Clerk-Typist across Maharashtra. The selection process will be conducted in two stages: Preliminary Exam and Main Exam.

Eligibility & Educational Qualification
- Nationality: Indian citizen
- Age Limit: 18–38 years (relaxation as per rules)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from a UGC-recognized university (except Industry Inspector post which requires Engineering/Technology degree)
Exam Pattern
- Preliminary Exam: 100 marks (Objective)
- Main Exam: 400 marks (Descriptive + Objective)
- Typing Test: Mandatory for Clerk-Typist & Tax Assistant posts

- Reserved / EWS / Orphan: ₹294 (Prelims) / ₹344 (Mains)
- Ex-Servicemen: ₹44 (both stages)
